Impact of cannabis use in individuals with a first epidose of psychosis.

Abstract
Cannabis use is more prevalent among individuals with psychosis than in the general population. Cannabis use has been widely associated to a poorer outcome of the psychosis, including worse treatment adherence and effectiveness, greater psychotic symptoms severity and poorer neuropsychological performance. However, there is little evidence on the impact of cannabis on the physical health of these patients. In addition, cannabis use condition has generally identified from patients self-reports. We aim to study cannabis use in a cohort of individuals with a first episode of psychosis, through objective measures of CBD and THC.
