Security aspects of 5G networks

Abstract
Security is a critical aspect of mobile network operations and its importance increases as technology advances. It is crucial that the highest level of security is upheld to ensure the smooth functioning of mobile networks. This thesis should presented an in-depth examination of the cybersecurity methods proposed for 5G systems. Through a comprehensive analysis of available research and technical reports, the properties of secirity should be evaluated in various scenarios, including standalone and non-standalone networks, as well as those that adhere to 3GPP standards.. Furthermore, the study should conducted security assessment of security protocols for 5G systems, using the Tamarin prover software. Based on this analysis, potential improvements should be suggested.
