Climate change and water resources management

Abstract

We welcome visiting PhD students to work with the Hydrology research group at UNICT in a very dynamic enviroment, to carry out research in one or more of the following specific topics:
- Assessment of climate change impacts on the hydrological cycle
- Evaluation of the quality of CMIP6 climate change projections in the Mediterraean Area
- Use of hydrological models for estimation of water resources in ungauged basins
- Simulation and optimization of water supply systems in drought contexts and under future climate change scenarios
- Sustainable urban drainage for climate change adaptation
