Agire (Italian for to act) is a cooperative founded in 2012 that deals with social inclusion through projects allowing disabled people to be included in working contexts and specific activities. In 2017 a new project was started managing the municipal cultural sites with the objective of making them totally accessible; this goal has been partially achieved through Italian Sign Language tours, Braille writing routes and improvements for people with mobility impairment. Our team includes professionals like engineers, archeologists, linguists, and tourism specialists in order to describe the historical and cultural heritage of Scicli without barriers.

Tourism services between social and cinema tourism
Brief description
The internship gives the opportunity to provide tourism services inside the artistic, historical and cultural sites of Scicli, a small town in south-east Sicily; the city has been experiencing a recent big tourism phoenomenon thanks to the notoriety given by a popular Tv show. The tasks required to the trainees are related to the field of tourism, hospitality and social accessibility.
